Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you access and use Cortexa's courses, materials, and platform services.

Last updated: June 2025

1. About These Terms

These terms describe the conditions under which Cortexa (registered at 316 Charoen Krung Road, Bang Kho Laem, Bangkok 10120, Thailand) makes its online AI development courses and platform available to you. By accessing the platform or enrolling in a course, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms. If you have any questions before proceeding, please write to us at [email protected].

2. Platform Access

Cortexa provides educational content through its online platform, including course modules, exercises, code review sessions, and mentorship interactions. Access is made available to learners who have enrolled in a course. We reserve the right to modify platform features, course structures, or schedules with reasonable notice. We make reasonable efforts to keep the platform available but cannot commit to uninterrupted service.

3. Enrolment and Fees

Course fees are listed in Thai Baht (฿) on our solutions page and are payable at the time of enrolment unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices are subject to change; any change will not affect enrolments already confirmed. Enrolment is personal and non-transferable — access credentials should not be shared with others.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

We understand that circumstances change. Our current approach:

  • Enquiries about cancellation made within 7 days of enrolment and before accessing more than one module will be considered for a full refund.
  • After that window, refund eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the extent of materials accessed and time elapsed.
  • Mentorship sessions that have already taken place are not refundable as the time has been allocated to you by a practitioner.

To discuss a cancellation, contact us at [email protected] or call +66 2 815 3946.

5. Learner Responsibilities

As a learner on the Cortexa platform, you agree to:

  • Use the platform and its materials for your own learning only, not for resale, redistribution, or commercial use.
  • Engage respectfully with instructors, mentors, and other learners in any collaborative or community setting.
  • Submit original work for exercises and project reviews; presenting others' work as your own is not acceptable.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Intellectual Property

All course content — including written materials, code examples, video walkthroughs, exercises, and structured curricula — is the intellectual property of Cortexa or its contributing educators. You are welcome to use what you learn; however, reproducing, sharing, or publishing course materials in whole or in part without written permission is not permitted. Work you produce yourself during a course — such as your capstone project — belongs to you.

7. Mentorship Sessions

Mentorship provided through the Capstone & Mentorship Track is conducted by working AI practitioners. Sessions are scheduled collaboratively and are intended to provide feedback on your project work. Mentors offer their professional perspectives and learning guidance; this does not constitute formal consultancy, employment advice, or any form of regulated professional service.

8. Limitation of Liability

Cortexa provides educational content with care and attention to quality. However, we make no claims about specific outcomes, results, or employability following course completion. All learning is self-directed and progress depends on individual effort and engagement. To the extent permitted by applicable Thai law, our liability for any losses arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount paid for the relevant course.

9. Changes to Courses and Terms

We review and update our curriculum regularly to keep it current with developments in AI and machine learning. Course content may be adjusted between intake cohorts. These terms may also be updated periodically; the current version is always available on this page. Enrolled learners will be notified by email of any changes that materially affect their active course.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising from or connected to these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bangkok, Thailand.
